"The Haunted Palace" is a fantasy rom-com in which Lee Ji-won, a shaman who rejects the fate of becoming a medium, and Lee Ji-won, who is trapped in the body of Lee Ji-won's first love Yoon Gab (Yook Sung-jae), are confronted with a spirit that has a grudge against the royal family and his body and soul are tightly twisted. Director Yoon Seong-sik, who was recognized for his trust and fun by directing dramas "Mr. Queen", "Lee Soon-sin is the Best", "Bridal Mask" and "Dae Jo Yeong" has joined forces with writer Yoon Soo-jeong, who wrote the dramas "The King's Face" and "Sassy Go Go". In the drama, Shin Seul-ki plays the role of Choi In-seon, the only daughter of Choi Won-woo, a famous man recognized in Joseon. Choi In-seon is the only daughter amongst many sons and has a clear and honest nature. She will portray what happens when she misunderstands that it is Yoon Gab (Yook Sung-jae), the king's inspector, who saved her from dying from a disease. In particular, as she worked with Kim Ji-yeon in the original "Pyramid Game", attention is focused on what kind of chemistry she will perform in this drama.
Shin Seul-ki made a public impression with her honest and lovely charm in Netflix's original love entertainment "Singles Inferno 2" and showed her side as an actresss in "Pyramid Game".
Meanwhile, SBS' new drama "The Haunted Palace" is scheduled to air in 2025.
