Singer Baek Chung-kang Diagnosed With Rectal Cancer

Baek Chung-kang, who won the survival competition show "The Birth Of A Great STAR", has been diagnosed with rectal cancer. Luckily, the diagnosis was made early.

Reps stated that Baek received surgery to remove a rectal adenoma (tumor) on August 31st. Cancer cells were discovered in the removed adenoma.

According to reports, Baek has been complaining of signs of abnormal stomach activity which led him to undergo examinations at a number of hospitals. A 4 cm-long adenoma, or a benign tumor, was discovered.

His agency has reassured fans that Baek is doing fine and recovering from the procedure. As soon as he recovers, he should be able to get back to promoting his music.
