Actor Son Byung-ho will appear in SBS' new drama "The Haunted Palace".

SBS' new drama "The Haunted Palace" which is scheduled to air in 2025, is a fantasy rom-com in which Lee Ji-won, a shaman who rejects the fate of becoming a medium, and Lee Ji-won, who is trapped in the body of Lee Ji-won's first love Yoon Gab (Yook Sung-jae), are confronted with a spirit that has a grudge against the royal family and his body and soul are tightly twisted.
It is a new work directed by Yoon Seong-sik, who received much love from viewers for directing "Mr. Queen", "Lee Soon-sin is the Best" and "Bridal Mask" and written by Yoon Soo-jeong, who wrote "The King's Face" and "Sassy Go Go" which raises expectations. Above all, the cast of Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon-I is drawing keen attention.
Son Byung-ho, who does not need an explanation, joins the team to complete the line-up of trustees. He plays the role of Kim Bong-in, the king's maternal grandfather and spiritual leader. He has been a strong supporter of King Lee Seong (Kim Ji-hoon-I), who dreams of reforming Joseon after the death of his predecessor. An experienced politician, Kim Bong-in does not show his inner feelings easily.
