At 12 PM on Friday, the coffin will be placed at the funeral hall of St. Mary's Hospital in Yeouido, Seoul. The burial site is in Seoul.
The deceased was found dead at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul on the 12th. He was 39. A friend who had a lunch appointment with Song Jae-rim reportedly visited his house and found Song Jae-rim. The police said, "There is no charge of murder".
The deceased's Instagram profile read, "A long journey begins".
The sudden sad news also plunged the entertainment industry into deep sorrow. Colleagues, seniors, and juniors, and fans are expressing their condolences.
Song Jae-rim, who was born in 1985, debuted in 2009 with the movie "Actresses" and made his face known in the MBC drama "The Moon Embracing the Sun" in 2012. Since then, he has appeared in movies such as "The Suspect", "Tunnel 3D", "The Snob", "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations" and "Bait" as well as in dramas such as "Fantasy Tower", "Two Weeks", "Unkind Women", "My Gap-soon", "I Wanna Hear Your Song", "How To Be Thirty" and "Queen Woo". Until last October, he met audiences through the musical "Rose of Versailles".
