On January 5th, Park Ji-hyun's agency told Newsen, "She has received an offer to appear in the new drama "Love Cloud" and is positively reviewing it", stating their official position.
Song Joong-ki's agency, HiZium Studio, also told Newsen, "He is reviewing the offer to appear in "Love Cloud"".
"Love Cloud" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a former flight instructor and a trainee pilot who reunite seven years later in Jeju as an air traffic controller and a pilot. The project brings together director Song Min-yeob of "Youth of May" and "High Cookie" and rookie writing team Mad Rabbit.
Song Joong-ki and Park Ji-hyun previously worked together in JTBC's weekend drama "Reborn Rich", which aired in 2022 and recorded a peak viewership rating of 26.9% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide). Attention is now focused on whether the two will reunite after four years, this time as leads in a romantic comedy.
The broadcast schedule has yet to be decided.
