Song Joong-ki Files for Divorce From Song Hye-kyo

Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo are getting divorced.

The law firm in charge of defending Song Joong-ki said, "On behalf of Song Joong-ki we have filed for a divorce settlement with the Seoul Family Court on the 26th."

Song Joong-ki made an additional statement.

"I apologize for bringing bad news to those who support me.

Song Hye-kyo and I are proceeding with a divorce. We hope this clarifies without us criticizing one another.

Please understand that I can't share our private matters. In the future, I hope to overcome all of this and do my best at my work".

Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo met in the 2016 drama "Descendants of the Sun" and got married in October of 2017.
