On August 10th, a ceremony to celebrate the kickoff of Korea's first charity soccer club, Smile FC took place in Kim Koo Museum in Yongsan, Seoul. Actor Song Joong-ki is holding a signed uniform during the event.

Song Joong-ki talked about what motivated him to join Smile FC as a member. He said, "I had a chance to meet a Mongolian child, who was suffering from facial disfigurements, before I enlisted. I heard the child was doing well after surgery at the time. I could not forget the happy look in mother's face".
He continued, "I'm an average man, who likes to play soccer. I'm glad I could join a player like Park Ji-sung to do the good things together".
