Song Kang-ho's First Drama With Byun Yo-han and Lee Kyu-hyung

Actor Song Kang-ho's first drama, "Uncle Sam-sik", has completed the lead cast. Song Kang-ho works with Byun Yo-han, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Seo Hyun-woo.

"Uncle Sam-sik" is set in the early 1960s. Uncle Sam-sik, who survived the turbulent times, and the super-elite Kim San are the main characters. Two men write stories of love, faith, or doubt.

Song Kang-ho plays the main character, Uncle Sam-sik. He is proud that he fed his family three meals a day even during the war, showing a colorful narrative

Byun Yo-han plays the character Kim San. Kim San is the highest elite from the Korean Military Academy. During his training in the U.S., he changes his major to economics and returns home with a dream of making Korea an industrial country.

The two present a bro-mance. In the drama, Uncle Sam-sik (Song Kang-ho) appears in front of Kim San (Byun Yo-han), saying, "We are dreaming the same dream".

Lee Kyu-hyung plays Kang Seong-min, the next leader candidate. Kang Seong-min is a person who has used Sam-sik to fulfill his desires. Then, he tries to throw away Sam-sik.

Seo Hyun-woo depicts Jeong Han-min, an elite soldier from the Army. Although he has been to the U.S. training with Kim San, he remains in the military and dreams of military reform. However, like Kim San, he encounters a wall of reality.

"Uncle Sam-sik" is directed by Shin Yeon-shick, who is in charge of both the script and directing. It has been decided to be a 10-episode drama series. The formation is currently under discussion.
