Actress Song Seon-mi has been cast for the jTBC weekend drama "Cruel Palace - War of Flowers"

Song Seon-mi takes on the role of Princess Min-hee Bin-kang. This is her first historical in 16 years since her debut.
Min-hee Bin-kang was born as the daughter of the second vice primer and is the perfect woman with quality, beauty, intelligence and elegance. However, she is a threat to femme fatale So Yong-jo (Kim Hyun-joo) who managed to raise her status from being a concubine's daughter.
So Yong-jo continuously pressures Min-hee Bin-kang and their differences make them enemies.
Song Seon-mi is attempting at a new image through this character. Min-hee Bin-kang is a bright character who doesn't fall into despair even when she is dragged to the Qing Dynasty as hostages with her husband King So-hyeon. She changes slowly as So Yong-jo keeps plotting against her when she comes back to the Chosun.
Song Seon-mi claims, "It's my first time in a historical but I am glad I have this chance. I am going to think of myself as a rookie and return to the basics to portray this character to my best".
Meanwhile, "Cruel Palace - War of Flowers" is the war between the women of kings' who fight to take over power and love. To be aired in March after "Childless Comfort".
