South Korean Government Uses K-POP Calendars To Spread Korean Culture

The South Korean government has decided to take a new approach to spread Korean culture.

To promote Korean idol groups to countries abroad, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism had special photo calendars produced and distributed to 170 international embassies.

Along with pictures of some of the top k-pop acts (i.e. Super Junior, f(x), Big Bang, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, 2PM, miss A, Kara, Beast, 4minute, T-ara, SISTAR), short explanations on various traditional Korean instruments were added.
