The first episode of KBS Monday & Tuesday drama, "Blood" depicted vampire doctor Park Ji-sang (Ahn Jae-hyun, Baek Seung-hwan)'s childhood and his capability as a vampire.

While Ji-sang and his mother Han Seon-yeong (Park Joo-mi) were living a secluded life away from others, the evil vampire Lee Jae-wook (Ji Jin-hee) kept threatening them thirstily.
Ji-sang's father Park Heyon-seo (Ryu Soo-young) had been killed by Lee Jae-wook and mother Han Seon-yeong, who had been protecting her son, also got killed by Nam Cheol-hoon (Kwon Hyun-sang) and J (Lee Ji-hoon).
Han Seon-yeong asked her son to burn her body so that more people would get infected by vampire virus.
The lonely vampire Ji-sang burnt mother's body and the house in hopes he would be able to live as an ordinary human being.
