The two women who fought over Shin Ha-kyun -- Choi Jung-won and Claudia Kim -- finally held hands.

On the seventeenth episode of KBS 2TV drama "Brain" on January 9th, Ji-hye (Choi Jung-won) comforted Yoo-jin (Claudia Kim), who was upset about Ruby's sickness.

Ruby felt pain while having a meal, fell unconscious, and was later diagnosed with moyamoya disease. Although Kang-hoon (Shin Ha-kyun) told her she would be alright after surgery, Yoo-jin was scared out of her wits.

Yoo-jin couldn't snap out of it even after Kang-hoon was put in charge of the operation, and Ji-hye took off her shoes for Yoo-jin, who ran out in slippers. She also comforted her by saying everything will become better once she had surgery.

Yoo-jin suppressed her tears as she expressed her devastation to Ji-hye, who thought Ruby was Yoo-jin's niece and told her about the relationship between Ruby and herself. Ji-hye couldn't help but be shocked at the truth but she still stood around the waiting room and calmed Yoo-jin down.

When the surgery was successfully over, Ji-hye was glad for Yoo-jin. There was no more tension whatsoever between the two. Also, the reason for Sang-cheol's (Jung Jin-young) weird symptoms was revealed.
