Choi Won (Lee Dong-wook) regretted sending Hong Da-in (Song Ji-hyo) and his daughter Choi Rang (Kim Yoo-bin-I) to the king's palace.

Choi Won felt very bad for his daughter who overheard Kim Chi-yong's (Jeon Gook-hwan) conversation to get rid of Lee Ho (Lim Seulong).

Hong Da-in wanted to go warn Lee Ho but Choi Won said, "You can't. Your life is at risk if you go into the palace".
