Song Chang-eui's family history surfaced in the MBC drama "Make a Woman Cry".

Kang Jin-woo (Song Chang-eui) had lost his wife and brother at the same time in the past and had been mentally detached from his family and son Kang Yoon-seo (Do Woo) ever since. The inner conflict between him and his son started with the death of his wife.

Yoon-seo realized the connection between Jin-woo and Deok-in (Kim Jung-eun) and said, "Why did mom die? If that woman calls me her son, I am going to die".

In addition, Jin-woo's sister-in-law Eun-soo (Ha Hee-ra) asked him a suspicious question about her husband's death and learned that there was something about him and his brother. The reason Jin-woo was so far from his family, was because of his brother's death. Jin-woo had kept this a secret for a long time.
