Yoo Myeong-hee (Kim Hae-sook) offered to step up because Lee Jeong-joo was disappointed that Choi Kyeong-ho's (Ji Seung-hyeon's) retrial was dismissed. She wanted to take responsibility for making the mistake of sending an innocent person to jail. However, Do Jin-myeong (Lee Deok-hwa) became testy.

Jeong-joo and Eui-hyeon wondered where Kim Ga-yeong's cell phone might be. If they had it, they could use it as evidence that she asked Choi Kyeong-ho for help. However, the cell phone that Seo Yong-soo (Jo Wan-gi) had disappeared, which was strange.

Myeong-hee had been to Yong-soo's house before, but pretended it was her first time and took Ga-yeong's phone. She also hired a lawyer for Kyeong-ho. Jeong-joo trusted Myeong-hee but went with Eui-hyeon to question her about the phone.

Myeong-hee claimed that she hid the phone for Do Han-joon (Dong Ha). Han-joon couldn't stand his father being the target. Myeong-hee played a recording to prove that Ga-yeong was with Jin-myeong.
