Hwang Shin-hye lied about the accident to protect Jeon Gwang-ryeol.

Nan-cho (Hwang Shin-hye) secured her husband Moon-do's (Jeon Gwang-ryeol) alibi when Kyeong-hee (Song Chae-hwan) asked her questions about the accident.

Kyeong-hee was shocked to hear that Moon-do might've had something to do with her husband's accident. She brought out the topic when she was invited to her in-law Nan-cho's house.

She asked, "If you know anything about the accident, please tell me. There's a lot I don't understand about what they say".

Nan-cho stepped in and said, "Did they say my husband is a suspect? I was there with him. I hid all my shame and told them everything. We were completely head over heels for each other too".

"I understand how you feel. You've handed over your wealth to your son-in-law and I understand that's something to go crazy over". Then Kyeong-hee seemed to withdraw her suspicions about Moon-do.

However, at the end of the episode, Kyeong-hee remembered where the dead chairman Yang Tae-sin had hidden the copy of his will.
