On the episode of the MBC drama "The Flower in Prison", Myeong Jong (Seo Ha-jun) covered for Jeong Nan-jeong (Park Joo-mi). At first, he tried to reveal her crime but Lee Jeong-myeong convinced him to use it to his advantage. There was also not enough evidence to prove that she was responsible for the epidemic.

In the end, Myeong Jong tried to deal with the Lord. Jeong Nan-jeong added that she wasn't guilty.

Myeong Jong then told Lee-jo Jeong-ran that he wanted to pick the people who would work for him, himself. However, it was denied.

Myeong Jong added, "If you let me do as I ask, I'll overlook her crime". In the end, the Lord chose Jeong Nan-jeong and Myeong Jong earned a chance to enforce his authority.
