KBS 2TV "Drama Special - The Temple" showed Hae-jeong (Young Eun) who grew up in a temple not knowing who her birth parents were. She met her father Monk Moo-yeon .

Monk Moo-yeon returned to the Unbu Temple after having left his daughter in the temple. Hae-eong learnt from a saint that Moo-yeon was her father to left her there.

Hae-jeong cicled Moo-yeon who didn't open his heart to her. She called him 'father' but he only smiled and didn't come close. He is a character who feels guilty for not carrying out his religious duties after giving birth to Hae-jeong with Jeong-rim (Seo Kab-sook).
