Steven Yeun and Yoo Ah-in to star in Lee Chang-dong's "Burning"

Korean-American actor Steven Yeun is starring in the director Lee Chang-dong's "Burning".

"Burning" is Lee Chang-dong's first movie since 2010.

"Burning" was initially planned to start making in November last year but was postponed. The original cast for the movie was Yoo Ah-in, Gang Dong-won and Sulli but only Yoo Ah-in remained. The rest of the casting is still in progress.

Steven Yeun will be playing the role that Kang Dong-won was meant to play. He is well known to fans of "The Walking Dead" and he also starred in director Bong Joon-ho's "Okja". The role that Sulli was meant to play will be cast through auditions.

"Burning" begins filming next month and will be released next year.
