The deceased was found dead at her home in Simgok-dong, Sujung-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on October 14th, 2019. She was 25.
The manager then visited Sulli's home when he could not reach her before a broadcast recording schedule. Police and paramedics were dispatched later, but Sulli was already dead. An autopsy showed no charges of crime or murder.
The sudden obituary of Sulli, who had been filming commercials until the previous day, left the entertainment industry in sorrow and shock. Various broadcast production presentations and comeback showcases were canceled or postponed to mourn the deceased.
Meanwhile, Sulli, who debuted in 2005 with the drama "Song of the Prince", began her idol activities as a member of the group f(x) in 2009. At that time, the deceased, who was greatly loved for "LA Cha TA", "Chu", and "Rum Pum Pum Pum" left the team in 2015 and turned into an actress.
Some of her films include "Pirates", "Fashion King - Movie", "Real", and "Persona: Sulli". Her posthumous work was the Netflix documentary "To Jinri", which was released at the Busan International Film Festival last year.
