Netflix drama "Sweet Home", considered one of the first 'K-Creature' dramas, has completed its four-year journey, and viewers' reactions are also drawing attention in various ways. Amid mixed reviews on the ending, the drama entered the competition by ranking seventh on Netflix's "World's Most Watched TV Show" (Flix Patrol).

"Sweet Home - Season 3", which was released on the 19th, depicts the last struggle of survivors in a world where humans turn into monsters according to their desires, following "Sweet Home" and "Sweet Home - Season 2", which were released in December 2020 and December last year, respectively.
In the process, Song Kang, who half turns into a monster, Lee Jin-uk, a 'special infected person' looking for a new host, Lee Do-hyun, a 'new human being' whose emotions have been removed, and his sister Go Min-si, who anxiously looks for him, gather again at the 'Stadium', the gathering place for survivors.
Audiences are enthusiastic about Song Kang, Lee Do-hyun, and Go Min-si's performances, and they praise them as an "opportunity to rediscover the power of youth stars". There is also a common response that it is better than "Sweet Home - Season 2", which was criticized for difficulty in expanding the story. Screen Rant, an American media outlet specializing in pop culture, explained, ""Sweet Home - Season 3" has solved many of the problems of season 2 as it adds depth to the character played by Song Kang".
However, there is also a regret that the development method and ending are difficult. Some viewers point out that the main characters who created a variety of stories in the previous series disappear in vain, pointing out that the character seems to be in a hurry to conclude.
British pop culture media NME also criticized, "It is slightly better than the previous work, but it failed to make the story clearer and more attractive. There are a few points where things can change, but most of them quickly go back to the mess".
However, thanks to the global recognition of "Sweet Home", long-term success seems to be easy. The reason is that the rating trend on various review sites has gradually turned upward.
As a representative example, the movie rating site Rotten Tomatoes' 'audience score' (a score that aggregates users who scored 3.5 or higher) was only 56% immediately after its release on the 19th but rose to 59% on the 21st.
