T-ara Bring Gifts to Elderly in Grip of Winter

On Wednesday, the coldest day registered so far this winter, girl group "T-ara" visited elderly people who live alone in Siheung-dong, Seoul, with gift boxes filled with noodles, underwear and facial creams. They also prepared and served lunch for their temporary hosts.

The charitable event occurred after "T-ara" asked a social service agency if they could participate in some volunteering work.

"I'm happy at having the chance to repay some of the love our fans have shown us since we debuted in 2009 through this voluntary work", said band member So-yeon.
In early January, the girls promised to show their appreciation to fans in person on Seoul's subway system if their new song "Lovey-Dovey" topped the local music chart. After it succeeded in doing so, the girls boarded a subway train and handed out rice cakes to passengers on Jan. 15.
