T-ara's Jiyeon confesses in tears "Abusive criticism was tough to hear"

T-ara's Jiyeon eventually spilled tears as she spoke about abusive comments she has received.

On the TV program "Joo Byeon Jin's Talk Show"'s "K-Pop Star Special", Super Junior's Shindong, T-ara Jiyeon, Rainbow's Kim Jae-kyung and ZEA's Yim Si-wan made an appearance as leaders of the current Korean wave.

Jiyeon talked about the difficulties of being an idol. She talked about the pain she went through on the topic of "abusive internet comments".

She said, "I was very upset at the comments and I was younger then". But soon tears overwhelmed her and she couldn't continue talking.

Gathering herself, Jiyeon said, "I try not to stay online to avoid them but now I think I shouldn't hide and just stand up against it. I will be braver".
