"The Legend of the Blue Sea" Receives Higher Ratings than Popular Drama "Descendants of the Sun"

SBS new Wednesday/Thursday drama, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" has been off to a great start.

It quickly topped the viewer ratings within its time slot, beating "Oh My Geum-bi" and "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo".
It even beat drama "Don't Dare to Dream" last episode rating of 11%.
This year's most popular drama, "Descendants of the Sun", hit a 14.3% rating on its first episode. "The Legend of the Blue Sea" beat it by 2.1%.
With its continuous high ratings, viewers anticipate it to be this year's greatest production for the last half of the year.
