"The Nightmare", Oh Ji-ho's Mystery Thriller to Come Out on the 12th

The mystery horror thriller "The Nightmare", which was invited to compete at the 38th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, unveiled a news release on Tuesday.

"The Nightmare" is a mysterious horror thriller about a movie director named Yeon-woo (Oh Ji-ho) who goes mad in trying to save his daughter, who died in a car accident, through his movie.

The following stills show Yeon-woo going slowly mad in the sadness of having lost his daughter. In the still of him walking with his daughter, he's the happiest father in the world.

In other stills, Yeon-woo, who dedicates himself to filmmaking after the death of his daughter, the representative who presses him to complete the film, and his wife, Ji-yeon, who is anxious to see her husband's obsession with their daughter, capture the characters around him and arouse curiosity.

Also, a mysterious woman who suddenly appears like fate one day, Yeon-woo falling into an irresistible madness after meeting her, and Ye-rim, who haunts him and doesn't leave like a fantasy, boost expectations for the mystery thriller in terms of how these points will unfold in the movie.

"The Nightmare" drew attention when it was invited to compete at the 38th Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. The Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, along with Catalonia International Fantastic Film Festival and Fantasporto International Film Festival, will feature a new mystery horror thriller that has never been seen before.

Actor Oh Ji-ho, who has been recognized for his sculpted visuals and solid acting skills, plays director Yeon-woo, who has to complete a film in the pain of losing his daughter. Oh Ji-ho, who showed off his appeal through a variety of works ranging from comedy to action, drama, historical drama and romance, is expected to challenge himself in this mystery horror thriller.

"The Nightmare" comes out on the 12th of March.
