"Thirty Nine" Son Ye-jin, "Every Line and Scene Was Great"

Actress Son Ye-jin expressed her expectations for her next drama, "Thirty Nine".

Son Ye-jin will play the role of Cha Mi-jo, the director of a Gangnam dermatologist, in JTBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "Thirty Nine" which will premiere at 10:30 PM on the 16th.

"Thirty Nine" is a story about the friendship, love, and life of three friends who turn forty just around the corner. Son Ye-jin will work with Jeon Mi-do and Kim Ji-hyun-II.

Son Ye-jin said, "I liked the script that well expressed the joys and sorrows of life, death, love, and life", and added, "Through the stories of the three friends, I sympathized a lot with women of that age".

She also expressed her affection for the work, saying, "All the lines and scenes were so good that I can't mention just one".

Regarding the process of preparing for the work, Son Ye-jin said, "I didn't prepare anything special, but as always, I found music that suits the drama and emotions, saved it on the playlist, listened to music and thought about it".

"I'm sure it won't go against expectations because good scripts and good staff and good actors came together for it", she said.
