TOP and Han Seo-hee's marijuana issue goes to second trial

The second trial for Han Seo-hee who smoked marijuana with Big Bang's Choi Seung-hyun, better known as TOP, is happening tomorrow.

The Seoul High Court's 7th criminal justice department will hold Han Seo-hee's hearing on October 20. She has been indicted on charges of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotic Drugs (Hemp).

Han Seo-hee was sentenced to 4 years probation, 120 hours probation, and 870,000 won in fine at her first sentence in June. The prosecution and Han Seo-hee both appealed against the ruling. In August, Han Seo-hee submitted an appeal and so did the prosecution.

Han Seo-hee interviewed after the first sentence, claiming that "TOP offered the hemp first and the electronic cigarette with liquid hemp was also TOP's". Since Han Seo-hee's argument is contrary to TOP's, the results of the trial are highly anticipated.

Meanwhile, Han Seo-hee has been charged with purchasing nine grams of hemp four times over a period from July to December of last year, and smoking or intaking it in the liquid form seven times. In the process of investigating Han Seo-hee, the police seized the circumstances involving TOP and proceeded with the investigation. In October, TOP was sentenced to two years probation and 12,000 won in surcharge.
