Uhm Ji-won interviews with English BBC World

Actress Uhm Ji-won had an interview with England's BBC World "The Third Eye". "The Third Eye" is a documentary series that highlights standing out countries and has already been made in England, Spain, Kenya and Vietnam.

It chose Korea as the country to be introduced in June and the BBC team came to Korea and had an interview with Uhm Ji-won. This documentary gathers the phenomenon of popular Korean movies and the Hallyu wave being focused on in Europe starting from Japan and other South East Asian countries.

She said on the interview, "Korean movies are creative and various, having originality and uniqueness therefore the time has come to share our movies with people from overseas as well who are looking for something new". BBC World's "The Third Eye" Korea version will be broadcasted in 8 episodes for a month in 200 or so countries all over the world.
