Uhm Ji-won to Wed Architect in Low-Key Ceremony

Actress Uhm Ji-won will tie the knot with architect Oh Young-wook on May 27.

Oh graduated from the architectural engineering department of Yonsei University and is now running an architectural firm. He is also a well-known travel writer who has published several books.

"Although they are obviously excited about getting married, Eom and Oh have been very careful about announcing their wedding plans at a time when the whole country is grieving [over the ferry incident]", Eom's agency Chaeum Entertainment said. It added that they will have a simple wedding without a pre-wedding photo shoot or exchange of gifts.

The couple went public with their relationship after the media reported they were dating last July.
