Synopsis
Chinese restaurant owner Tae-hoon (Heo Sung-tae) is attracted to the salon owner Hye-ran (Geum Hae-na).
He's shy about it but he tells his friend Byeong-cheon (Jo Sung-hee-II) everything. Meanwhile, Byeong-cheon is attracted to Mi-joo (Ban Eun-se) who works at Tae-hoon's restaurant.
One day, the four of them get together for a so-called 'work dinner'. On the day of the dinner, Tae-hoon tries to close up quickly and leave but a novelist named Moon-sik (Seol Jae-geun) comes along and pisses him off. Is that a bad sign?
The dinner goes well but only for Byeong-cheon. Hye-ran keeps saying a person who 'holds back' is a good person.
How far can he hide his feelings? The words 'cigarette', 'dinner' and 'Jjajangmyeong' have been roaming around in his head.
Tae-hoon is confused. The dinner is a long one for him and Mi-joo gets drunk on him. The day Tae-hoon expected to be the greatest is not turning out so great.
Meanwhile, Moon-sik's friend Yoon-goo (Jung Han-bin) comes around and talks about Jin-wook (Guk Joong-woong) who is living in Cheong Pyeong with Bo-keong (Jo Young-ji). Will this be a great day for Moon-sik?
'The things people say come with misunderstandings and understanding'.
