Synopsis
Part 1: "Mark" is based on the legend of cause and effect, where the tragic fate of a brother and sister, burdened by the karma of an unjust incestuous relationship, is marked by a scarlet letter and punished through death.
Part 2: "Atonement" follows the paths of three young individuals in their twenties: Woman 1, who moves to the city recklessly; Woman 2, who embezzles public funds and travels to the city intending to kill a lover who betrayed her; and a male university student who disappears after participating in a protest. Their misguided actions intertwine, leading to atonement, but ultimately resulting in irreversible consequences.
