The backtrack for "The Preparation" is the sort of joyous string sound one often hears in sports dramas. It is the same idea for a mother diagnosed with a terminal illness who is teaching and cheering for her son with an intellectual disability to live happily and well when she is gone. Although the premise is sad, the trailer seems to want us to enjoy life in the moment even when we prepare for the future.
