Lee Jae-yong-I, a character actor best known for playing villain roles in various TV dramas and movies, will be the bad guy in "Detective K".
The 47-year-old actor will play the role of Lim Paan Seo, a minister who is suspected of stealing tax money, and will be investigated by the "Detective K" (Kim Myung-min) as ordered by the King. Lim is also the father-in-law of Kim Ah Young, Han Ji-min's character.
Lee Jae-yong-I is currently starring in SBS drama, "King of Ambition" where he plays the role of Gong Sung Jo. Before that, he was the treacherous Minister of War in "Sungkyukwan Scandal" (KBS2, 2010).
"Detective K" is currently in production and shooting is expected to wrap up within the week. The movie is targeted for release in Lunar New Year 2011.
