According to the advertising industry, Won Bin's model contract with a coffee brand that he has been active for 16 years since 2008 was terminated in January this year. He led a sensational trend by sweetly digesting the commercial copy, "If you were just ordinary coffee, this is my T.O.P".
In particular, Won Bin has stopped acting for 14 years since the movie "The Man From Nowhere" (director Lee Jeong-beom) in 2010. As he has only been working on advertisements, great attention is being paid to him as a model.
This year, his wife, actress Lee Na-young, also ended her relationship with the coffee brand she had been in charge of for 24 years.
Actors Hong Kyung and Park Bo-young were selected to replace Won Bin and Lee Na-young, respectively.
Regarding the reason why they did not renew their contracts with the couple, the brand said, "There is no special reason. They have played very big roles. We are so grateful to them both", and expressed a beautiful farewell.
The advertising industry sees this trend of change as 'trying to target MZ generation consumers'.
In the meantime, Lee Na-young made headlines by revealing her husband's recent situation in last year's wavve drama "One Day Off". She said, "I'm sure he'll be back soon. My husband is looking through scenarios. He is very interested in the dramas and movies".
