Writer Noh Hee-kyeong debuted in 1995 with an MBC drama. She wrote several successful dramas such as "Worlds Within" about people in the broadcasting industry, "It's Okay, That's Love" about a psychiatrist and her patient, "That Winter, the Wind Blows", a traditional mellow drama, and "Dear My Friends" that highlights the elderly, those with disabilities and the neglected class of people.
Last year, she wrote "Live", which she claims began when she saw the policemen during the candlelight vigil. She emphasized on the reality of the drama and collected information from police stations for over a year.
