Hailed as one of Korea's living legends, Yim Jae Beum will be returning to the States after selling-out Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre in October 2011 for two more exclusive U.S. concerts, a Lunar New Year celebration that the entire family can enjoy. The two-city tour will kick-off on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Key Arena in Seattle, and will finish off on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
Most recently known for his appearance on Korea's hit reality competition show "나는 가수다" or "I Am a Singer", Yim garnered remarkable success, captivating millions of old
and new fans with his powerful vocals and the revival of his number one hit "For You", originally released nearly a decade ago. Yim's name soon became the most-searched-word on major Internet portals in Korea, and his heartfelt performance video drew nearly three million views in just three days.
The entertainment industry has deemed this new phase of his career as the "Return of the King". While Yim's vocal ability and charismatic stage presence are unquestionable, he remains an artist who does not frequent himself to the spotlight. The Seattle and New Jersey show dates will provide a rare opportunity for his U.S. fans to witness his incredible talent and artistry live in concert.
