Yim Si-wan takes home MBC Rookie Award

Yim Si-wan took home the MBC Rookie Award for "Triangle - Drama" at the MBC Drama Awards on the 30th.

He said, "I wasn't expecting this. I was full of anticipation last year, but this year it's totally unexpected".

"It's always good to win something. I do not apply personal meaning to the trophy you have given me today. I am going to be a passionate actor".

"To those I want to thank, I will call them personally and as for my fans, I want to thank you right now".

Yim Si-wan recently starred in a tvN drama called "Misaeng: Incomplete Life" as contract employee Jang Gre. His name was called as a candidate at the Daejong Awards and Blue Dragon Awards but to no avail.

He also starred in the an MBC drma called "Triangle - Drama" as Jang Dong-soo, the youngest son of a powerful family.
