Yoo Ah-in Considers Park Chan-wook's Historical Project

Actor Yoo Ah-in is considering appearing in a historical drama project film directed by Park Chan-wook.

Yoo Ah-in's agency, United Artists Agency, told YTN star on the 21st, "Yoo Ah-in has recently been proposed to appear in a project which Park Chan-wook has been working on. "Uprising" is a martial arts action historical drama film set in the Japanese Invasion of Korea and after the Imjin War, and director Kim Sang-man, who directed "Midnight FM", takes the megaphone.

Yoo Ah-in has been loved by many people for his stable acting skills in historical dramas through dramas "Sungkyunkwan Scandal", "Jang Ok-jung, Living in Love" and "Six Flying Dragons", as well as the movie "The Throne".

Meanwhile, "Uprising" will be produced by Park Chan-wook's Moho Film and Semi-Colon Studios.
