Singer and actress Yoo Chae-yeong left us 9 years ago at the age of 41.

She passed away on the 24th of July, 2014 from stomach cancer. She had been fighting with the disease since October of 2013.

Yoo Chae-yeong debuted in 1989 and was active as a member of COOL and US in 1994 and 1995 respectively. She then went solo on 1999.

Other than that, the late actress starred in several movies and dramas such as "Sex Is Zero", "Sexy Teacher", "To Marry a Millionaire", "My Cop", "Fashion King" and more.

Yoo Chae-yeong married a businessman Kim Joo-hwan, one year younger than her, in 2008. Even after her passing, Kim Joo-hwan has been writing romantic letters for her on her fan café on her birthdays.
