Yoo Jae-myung is opening a new era of extreme villainous roles. The public is looking forward to Yoo Jae-myung's villainous history, who will fill the summer with the movie "Land of Happiness" following Disney+ and U+ Mobile TV's "No Way Out: The Roulette" which will be released on Thursday.
Actor Yoo Jae-myung, who breathes his life into each character embodied in each drama, displays new evil. In "No Way Out: The Roulette", Yoo Jae-myung plays the role of Kim Gook-ho, a rare villain, and becomes the target of everyone's murder. "No Way Out: The Roulette" is a drama about a fierce battle between people with no way out as 20 billion won is put out in a public murder compensation on Kim Gook-ho's head. Kim Gook-ho is a murderer who spent 13 years in prison. Although he's served legal terms, the anger around the victim's family and the public is still raging, and he is targeted for murder when a reward of 20 billion won is on his head.
Yoo Jae-myung portrays Kim Gook-ho as a daily villain. The highlight video clip that was released earlier naturally makes him look angry. From the way he shamelessly asks what he's done wrong and the way he looks at the people who want to kill him with his puzzled and trembling eyes, and immediately recognizes that he is the subject of protection and smiles fishily. It instantly makes us understand why he becomes a target of murder at the cost of 20 billion won.
Until the fourth episode, which was disclosed to reporters in advance, Yoo Jae-myung performed his role as a villain. It is expected that his humane actions after heinous misdeeds will arouse the anger of viewers. Yoo Jae-myung's courage to play such a role without fear will spark viewers' amazement.
In the movie "Land of Happiness" which will be released later, he will change his face to Jeon Sang-doo, the center of huge power. The movie tells the story of Park Tae-joo (Lee Sun-kyun), who was involved in the assassination of the president by orders from his superiors, and Jeong In-hoo (Cho Jung-seok), a lawyer who enters the worst political trial in Korea on October 26th, 1979 by taking his defense. Jeon Sang-doo is the one who moves the trial for power, and not only controls the trial but also wields invisible power to the lawyers. He is the face of Yoo Jae-myung who has never been seen before. Starting with his unconscious and coercive style transformation which involved pulling out and shaving real hair and Yoo Jae-myung's weight as an authoritative figure with a forceful attitude aroused the pressure and fear that the characters in the movie would feel, and made him the axis of evil.
Public expectations are rising for Yoo Jae-myung's drastic moves to become a villain, who has shown a new acting transformation with a vicious role full of venom. The drama "No Way Out: The Roulette", which cost Yoo 20 billion won, will be available from today. The movie "Land of Happiness", which features Yoo Jae-myung's transformation that created a new face between reality and fiction, will be released on August 14th.
