Yoo Jae-suk Makes Donation to Help Poor Teens with Sanitary Products

Comedian Yoo Jae-suk has made another donation to help people in need.

G Foundation, an international non-governmental charity organization, said Monday that Yoo donated W50 million to the charity to help provide sanitary products for teenage girls in need (US$1=W1,221).

"Many underprivileged young girls are suffering from period poverty", the charity said. "We thank Yoo for his donation".

The donation will be used to prepare kits consisting of six months' worth of sanitary pads and feminine cleansers as well as pad pouches.

In February, Yoo donated W100 million to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to help the fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
