JTBC's new drama "The Beads of God" announced on the 13th that Yoon Kyun-sang has confirmed his appearance.
"The Beads of God" is a military action melodrama set in the Goryeo Dynasty (1258 AD), when the 30-year war against the Mongol Empire was at its peak. It contains the heroic struggle of the convoy in search of the Mongol Empire's holy relics and the struggle of the princess to save them.
Director Jeong Dae-yoon, who showed sensational directing skills through "Reborn Rich" "W" and "She Was Pretty", and writer Jeong Hyeon-min, who created numerous box office hits such as "The Nokdu Flower", "Jeong Do-jeon" and "Assembly" are in sync. Earlier, Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Claudia Kim, and Ha Yoon-kyung were confirmed to appear, and even popular actor Yoon Kyun-sang joined to complete the ultra-luxurious lineup.
Yoon Kyun-sang plays Wang Mu, the first love of Wang Hui and a defense officer who protects the Wonju castle in the drama. Wang Mu is an imperial member that has nothing to do with the emperor. Due to the checks of the military officials who control the state affairs of the Goryeo Dynasty, he is unable to move to the capital and wanders around the frontier. He has a heart-breaking story that he had to send Wang Hui (Claudia Kim) away on contract marriage a long time ago.
Expectations are high for Yoon Kyun-sang's new appearance in "The Beads of God".
