'Empress Chung' May Be Released in Both Koreas
Published on | Source
"Empress Chung (Wanghu Simchung)", a feature animation co-produced by South and North Korean companies, may be simultaneously released in theaters in the two countries.
The North Korean government has yet to give a definite answer regarding the simultaneous release scheduled for August, but has responded "quite favorably" during negotiations, Creative Film Marketing, the film's domestic promotion company, said yesterday.
The film is also expected to be redubbed in North Korea to fit that country's dialect and mannerisms.
