"The Attorney" hit the eight-million viewer mark only 19 days after it was released. According to the Korean Film Council, a total of 8.03 million people had watched the film as of Monday, drawing 165,788 moviegoers that day alone.

Now in its fourth week, the flick remains hugely popular, maintaining its lead in the box office ranking.

"The Attorney" achieved the milestone six days faster than "Miracle in Cell No.7", "Masquerade", and Hollywood blockbuster "Avatar". It is likely to keep up the momentum for the time being as it is receiving rave reviews from audiences.
