With the landing of the Korean wave all over the world, people in the remotest places of the globe can now connect to and relate with the stories portrayed in Korean dramas. Among all the genres that K-Dramas are popular for, romance dramas are the most beloved and for good reason too! They portray beautiful relationships, very human situations and provide healing to the soul. However, the relationships shown in these dramas don't always portray happy relationships. Here are 10 Korean dramas that give us shining examples of healthy relationships!

Yoo In-na and Lee Dong-wook's romance drama was highly anticipated, especially due to their unfulfilled love story in "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" and "Touch Your Heart" delivers on that front beautifully. The romance is so pure and light-hearted that it instantly lifts viewers' mood. There are no unnecessary roundabouts or complications and we couldn't be more thankful.
Contrary to the simplicity of "Touch Your Heart", "Extraordinary You" is full of twists and turns that tug at your heart-strings. However, what remains steady throughout the drama is Haru and Eun Dan-oh's love for each other, which is enough to defy fate and create their own destiny.
"What's Wrong With Secretary Kim"
This K-Drama classic is on every K-Drama lover's recommended list. After all, Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young's chemistry is electric in this one. Childhood lovers reunite as adults and even through several road-blocks, fall in love. What could be better than this dreamy romance?
This drama explores how two completely different individuals could still fall for each other and find similarities even when it seems like nothing about them being together makes sense. What's important is that it doesn't have to make sense to anyone else besides the ones involved. The relationship in this drama is based on mutual love and respect, which is always the ideal of a good relationship.
This drama gives us a refreshing role reversal where the petite female lead protects the more physically imposing male lead. Besides, the love triangle here is better than any other. Superpowers, cute romantic scenes and a murder mystery all in one: that is exactly what is drama is.
"Thirty But Seventeen" is an incredible realistic drama about a woman who loses her youth to a coma but finds it once again when she meets her secret highschool sweetheart at thirty. The central relationship in this drama is the very definition of relationship goals, in a very achievable and relatable way.
Trauma can eat away at one's life and affect their entire existence unless it is addressed and eventually, hopefully, healed. "Just Between Lovers" deals with this trauma, which happens to be shared between our lead couple. Together, they open up each other's hearts and find happiness in the same. Not only is this relationship wholesome but also deeply moving.
This drama, starring Kang Ha-neul and Kong Hyo-jin is a refreshing change in the K-Drama romance world. It portrays a mature relationship between a single mother and policeman with anger issues that still gives us butterflies. It addresses social issues of judgement, prejudice and more and even sprinkles in a serial killer chase to spice things up. Above everything else, love wins and that includes self love.
The drama responsible for the re-strengthening of the Hallyu wave, "Crash Landing on You" is a love story beyond borders, quite literally. The romance here is nothing short of a fairy tale romance and even though it might not be completely realistic, we love it regardless.
Finally, this list wouldn't be complete without including Kim Jung-hyun and Jung In-sun's lovely little comedic romance in "Welcome to Waikiki". This drama can quite literally turn a frown upside down. It is easily one of the funniest dramas in the history of Korean dramas. However, it also has the sweetest romance that blooms slowly but steadily through understanding, maturity and trust. Han Yoon-ah and Kang Dong-goo are couple goals without a doubt!
