Choi Si-won, a member of the boy-band Superjunior, has held an online fan meeting with 210,000 Chinese fans.
Choi visited Beijing, China to dub the Korean-Chinese-Japanese movie "A Battle of Wits" in Chinese and gave an unscheduled interview to the Internet portal site Cina.com.
Choi's agency, SM Entertainment, said some 50,000 inquiries were posted during the live hour-long interview/chat session and some 210,000 fans accessed the site to watch it.
A person from Cina.com said the number of fans would probably be unimaginably large if all members of Superjunior appeared in the interview and that the response to Choi alone was proof of the group's explosive popularity in China.
Choi will join his group on July 23 to unveil Superjunior's newest song.
