2NE1's Sandara Park to Star in TV Series on KBS

Sandara Park, a member of K-pop girl group 2NE1, will star in the short TV series "Missing korea" on KBS, which is scheduled to air sometime in October.

The six-episode series, which runs about ten minutes each, will deal with a story about a beauty pageant.

Park will play a role as a contestant representing North Korea and has been practicing a North Korean accent for the role.

Park has appeared in a couple of web dramas, expanding her career to acting.

She is also awaiting her big screen debut in the music-themed film with the working title, "Echo".
