Kim Woo-bin to Star in "Gift" as a Pitching Coach

Scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026, tvN's new drama "Gift" (directed by Kim Kyoo-tae and Ham Seung-hoon; written by Moon Min-jung, Hae Joo, and Sung Eun-I) is a coming-of-age sports drama about a former professional baseball pitching coach who gains a special ability after an unexpected accident and takes over as the coach of the lowest-ranked high school baseball team in the country. The series is based on the Kakao Webtoon of the same name by author Jeong Iriiri.

Kim Woo-bin will play Jeong Min-yong, a former professional baseball pitching coach. After acquiring the extraordinary ability to instantly recognize people's baseball talent, Jeong Min-yong leaves the professional league and becomes the head coach of a struggling high school baseball team ranked last nationwide, leading the team's transformation through his unique coaching methods.
