57th Cannes Film Festival Features Several Korean Movies

The 57th Cannes Film Festival, which opens on May 12th in France, is expected to be a feast of Korean movies.
"A Woman is the Future of a Man", directed by Hong Sang-soo, was chosen to participate in the competition. The "the Woods of Spiders", directed by Song Il-gon, was invited to the Director's Fortnight.
"The Woods of Spiders", starring Kam Woo-sung and Suh Jung, is a thriller that features a broadcasting producer involved in a murder case. The film is the second full-length work by director Song Il-gon, who made his full-length film debut with "Flower Island". Suh Jung plays a double role and rookie Kang Kyeong-hyun bares it all in a bedroom scene with Kam Woo-sung.
"Oldboy", directed by Park Chan-wook, is also a strong candidate to be invited to the special showing.
