Action Sequel Attracts 1 Million Viewers in About a Week

Actor Jung Woo-sung's latest film, "Steel Rain 2: Summit", hit the 1-million mark in cinema attendance on Sunday.

According to the Korean Film Council, the sequel to the 2017 film "Steel Rain" attracted some 1.02 million viewers in just five days following its release last week.
The action film is about a fictional trilateral summit between the two Koreas and the U.S., as leaders of the countries are confined in a nuclear-powered submarine after a military coup in the North.

"Steel Rain 2: Summit" is directed by Yang Woo-seok, and features Jung Woo-sung, Kwak Do-won, Yoo Yeon-seok, Angus MacFadyen, Shin Jung-geun, Ryu Soo-young. Release date in Korea: 2020/07/29.
